Counselors - Small Business Development Center Two part-time positions available, to work up to 17.50 hours per week, for the period 12/01/14 through 1120/15. The successful candidates will report to the Director of SBDC, and will be responsible for counseling small business clients in the areas of finance and marketing, including business plan development, market research; assistance in analysis and preparation of financial statements; assistance with management information systems; plan and conduct related business plan seminars and outreach activities; and locate funding sources and structure financial packages. Some evenings/weekends may be required. Salary $20 - $22 per hour; no benefits. Bachelor's degree in the area of business, management, finance, economics, or related field required. No less than five years experience in private-sector business or related public technical assistance environment. Master's degree and knowledge of Spanish language preferred.
