Marketing Communications Specialist

Job Description
Hands-on, detail oriented team player who knows how to multi-task and make things happen. This customer centric, commercial marketing team member will assist in making SP Scientific shine by being prepared, responsive and effective, working cross functionally within the department as well as with sales; service, operations and technical marketing, to communicate and manage the many details needed to help drive effective marketing programs.
This position assists in the organization, implementation and administration of marketing programs with the following ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Processing and responding to general department inquiries and requests for information
Assist in coordination of company sponsored technical seminars, educational and promotional events
Update and maintain printing and digital portals for SP sales and marketing literature assisting users as needed
Track, report and analyze ROI for on-going marketing programs including web site use, social media, trade show leads, videos and other educational initiatives
Production and distribution of digital marketing materials including email blasts, social media posts, web site updates and other simple content
Pull data and update marketing contacts in CRM (Microsoft Dynamic
Basic revisions to documents/images created with Microsoft office products or graphics software including formatting of compelling powerpoint presentations with multi-media functionality
Trade Show logistic planning and coordination including maintenance of trade show properties and other assets as well as making provisions for SP equipment that may be needed
Work with printers and other outside resources to obtain quotes and track production and delivery of marketing materials
Gather, create, and distribute sales and marketing news to key stakeholders
Additional responsibilities as needed to assist marketing/sales activities and personnel;may require less than 10% travel
QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
Strong written and oral communication skills with an eye to detail
Employs a combination of analytical, creative and pragmatic skill sets to deliver best results
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, tracking and meeting deadlines
Computer Skills: Microsoft Office including strong Powerpoint, Adobe Acrobat, database and CRM software
Experience/knowledge of website CMS
Prior work experience in B to B setting utilizing internal sales and rep organizations
Four year college degree in marketing, communications, related scientific discipline or equivalency of 4+ years of experience.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
